In a warm display of affection and camaraderie, the Special Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde on Matters Concerning Ibadan North Federal Constituency and Women Leader of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Julian Àríké Nwachukwu, has extended heartfelt birthday wishes to her Media Consultant and esteemed party stakeholder, Mogaji Samuel Toba-Olumide, as he marks his birthday on September 2nd.


Hon. Julian Nwachukwu, in her congratulatory message, described the Ibadan-born celebrant (who was an aspirant for Oyo Assembly Ibadan North 1, in 2022) as a man of rare virtues; kind-hearted, beautiful inside and out, deeply loyal, and remarkably dependable. She emphasized his unwavering support and understanding, both on a personal level and within the political landscape.


Her message reads in part:

Just In: (Pictorial) Tragedy Strikes Ibadan || Police Stray Bullet Claims Life of 17-Year-Old Student Published by Samuel Toba-Olumide   Ibadan, Oyo State - A somber mood has engulfed the Alakia-Welfare-Airport Ibadan community following a tragic incident on Airport Road, Alakia, where a 17-year-old student lost his life in a hail of bullets fired by police officers. According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred when a driver, allegedly passing through a one-way street, was pursued by police officers. In the ensuing chase, the officers opened fire, and a stray bullet struck another vehicle carrying the teenager, who was on his way to school to sit for a WAEC exam. The foremost monarch, who ascended the throne in July 2024, died in the early hours of Monday, July 7, 2025, after spending a year on the throne.  The demise of Oba Olakulehin, born July 5, 1935, is coming barely two days after celebrating his 90th birthday.  Oba Olakulehin received the staff of office from Oyo State Governor Engr.
