The Champion of Ibadan Culture and a notable stalwart of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Olusoji Olusegun Alade, popularly known as SOJ, has felicitated with the Oyo State PDP Youth Leader and Acting Publicity Secretary, Hon. Micheal Oluwaseun Ogunsina (Bro Mike), on the joyous occasion of his birthday.

In a heartfelt message made available to the media, Hon. SOJ, who also serves as the Social Secretary of Omo Aj’Orosun Club, described Bro Mike, his kinsman from Ibadan North, as a “shining light whose glow can never be dimmed.”


He wrote in part:

"On this auspicious occasion, I, Olusoji Alade, extend my warmest congratulations to the effervescent State Officer of our great party, Hon. Micheal Ogunsina, who dutifully carries the dual responsibilities of State Youth Leader and Acting Publicity Secretary. Entrusting you with these leadership roles is no coincidence; through your actions, commitment, and service, you have proven yourself to be a beacon of light and an eagle that soars high against all odds.

"As you step into this new age, may your heart’s desires be granted in abundance. Keep soaring, Bro Mike; the sky is only your starting point. Congratulations once again."

Hon. SOJ concluded his message with prayers for greater strength, wisdom, and grace for Bro Mike in his political and personal journey.

According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred when a driver, allegedly passing through a one-way street, was pursued by police officers. The foremost monarch, who ascended the throne in July 2024, died in the early hours of Monday, July 7, 2025, after spending a year on the throne.  The demise of Oba Olakulehin, born July 5, 1935, is coming barely two days after celebrating his 90th birthday.  Oba Olakulehin received the staff of office from Oyo State Governor Engr.
