The Special Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde on Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Hon. Julian Àríké Nwachukwu, has congratulated the newly elected executives of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ibadan North Local Government, describing their emergence as a victory for internal democracy and party unity.

The congress, which was widely commended for its peaceful and transparent conduct, produced Alh. COMRADE ADEMUYIWA MUSTAPHA BOLUWATIFE as the substantive chairman of the party in Ibadan North, alongside other officers who will oversee the affairs of the PDP at the grassroots level.

Hon. Nwachukwu, the immediate past Women Leader of the party in Ibadan North and now elected Ex-Officio I, said the successful exercise reflected the stabilizing influence of Governor Seyi Makinde’s leadership style within the PDP in Oyo State.

“His Excellency has consistently provided the right atmosphere for peace and inclusiveness in our party,” she noted. “The Ibadan North congress is another proof that under his guidance, the PDP remains the most organized and people-focused party in the state.”

She prayed for the success of the new leadership, declaring, “Igba yin a tu wa lara,” while expressing confidence that the executives would consolidate the gains of the party and take it to greater heights across the local government and the state.

Hon. Julian also extolled the leadership of Ibadan North vis-a-vis the Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon Oluwaseun Olufade, the Congress committee, headed by the great Leader, Alh. Ismaila Osuolale Ashipa, and all Leaders of our dear Local Government for such peaceful Congress.

Hon. Julian Nwachukwu also urged party faithful and stakeholders to give maximum support to the new team, stressing that loyalty and collective commitment would be crucial as the PDP positions itself for future political contests
