Birthday: Oyo PDP 33 Local Government Chairmen Celebrate Otunba Adeseye Famojuro || Reaffirm Loyalty to Makinde-Led Leadership

The Forum of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chairmen across the 33 Local Government Areas of Oyo State has extended warm birthday felicitations to Otunba Adeseye Famojuro, widely regarded as a trusted ally and right-hand man to the Executive Governor of the state, Seyi Makinde, and a key figure in the leadership structure of the Peoples Democratic Party in the state.

In a statement issued on behalf of the Forum, the Chairman of Chairmen described Otunba Famojuro as a dependable political strategist, grassroots mobilizer, and loyal pillar whose commitment to party unity and progress continues to strengthen the PDP’s dominance in Oyo State. He noted that the celebrant’s leadership qualities and dedication to the growth of the party have earned him deep respect among party faithful and stakeholders alike.

The Chairmen collectively celebrated his birthday, offering heartfelt prayers for longevity, wisdom, and greater accomplishments in service to the party and the people of Oyo State.

The statement also recalled that earlier in the week, the Forum convened an inter-religious prayer session seeking divine intervention as legal proceedings continue regarding the Makinde/Turaki-led authentic faction of the PDP. The gathering, which brought together Christian and Muslim clerics, reflected the unified resolve of the party leadership in the state to seek spiritual guidance and victory at the Court of Appeal.

Speaking on behalf of all the Chairmen, the Chairman of Chairmen emphasized that celebrating Otunba Famojuro’s birthday goes beyond personal recognition; it is a celebration of loyalty, sacrifice, and steadfast service to a political vision anchored on unity, progress, and principled leadership under Governor Makinde.

The Forum concluded with collective prayers for the celebrant, wishing him renewed strength, sound health, and continued influence as the party navigates critical political moments and prepares for greater victories ahead.

The foremost monarch, who ascended the throne in July 2024, died in the early hours of Monday, July 7, 2025, after spending a year on the throne.  The demise of Oba Olakulehin, born July 5, 1935, is coming barely two days after celebrating his 90th birthday.  Oba Olakulehin received the staff of office from Oyo State Governor Engr.
