Just In: PDP Stakeholder, Hon. Yisah Mohammed Bright, Distributes Free JAMB Forms to Students in Ibadan North

In a remarkable effort to promote education and ease the financial burden on families, a Stalwart of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Ward 9, Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Yisah Mohammed Bright, fondly known as Hon. Bright, has distributed free forms of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) to students across the ward and the entire Ibadan North Local Government area.

In a statement made available to BishopWeeMedia, the donor, who describes himself as a protégé of His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, said the initiative was designed to encourage academic excellence and create opportunities for deserving students to pursue tertiary education without financial hindrance.

Hon. Bright emphasized that education remains a powerful tool for societal transformation, stressing that the gesture was specifically aimed at alleviating the economic challenges many families face in sponsoring their children’s academic aspirations.

He further noted that the distribution of the JAMB forms forms part of his broader commitment to youth empowerment and reducing the number of out-of-school youths in Ward 9 and across Ibadan North Local Government.

The PDP Women leader of Ibadan North Local Government, Mrs. Adebola Babalola extolled Hon. Bright’s generosity, describing it as a clear demonstration of his dedication to education and youth development.

“This gesture by Hon. Yisah Bright reflects his unwavering commitment to investing in the future of our young people,” the party leader stated.

He also charged the beneficiaries to justify the opportunity given to them. “You must be good ambassadors of this local government and make us proud through outstanding academic performance and exemplary conduct,” he admonished.

Speaking on behalf of the parents, a representative expressed deep appreciation to Hon. Bright for the timely intervention. “We are sincerely grateful to Hon. Bright for remembering our children. This kind gesture will significantly reduce the financial pressure on many families and give our children renewed hope for a brighter future,” she said.
