In a warm and heartfelt gesture, Ibadan-based businessman and prominent Stalwart of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Olusoji Olusegun Alade SOJ, has joined numerous well-wishers in celebrating the birthday of the Secretary of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwafemi Olayinka Oladejo, fondly known as Femi Bantu.

Both Hon. SOJ and Hon. Femi Bantu are respected stakeholders within the PDP in Ibadan North Local Government, known for their dedication to grassroots politics and community development.

Hon. Olusoji Alade SOJ, who is widely recognized as the 2025 Champion of Ibadan Culture and a principal officer of the prestigious Ọmọ Aj’orosun Club, used the occasion to extol the virtues, leadership qualities, and service record of the celebrant.

In his congratulatory message, Hon. SOJ described Femi Bantu as a committed public servant whose contributions to governance and political coordination in Ibadan North have remained impactful and commendable.

According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred when a driver, allegedly passing through a one-way street, was pursued by police officers. The foremost monarch, who ascended the throne in July 2024, died in the early hours of Monday, July 7, 2025, after spending a year on the throne.  The demise of Oba Olakulehin, born July 5, 1935, is coming barely two days after celebrating his 90th birthday.  Oba Olakulehin received the staff of office from Oyo State Governor Engr.
