The Special Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde on Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Hon. Julian Arike Nwachukwu, has joined friends, political associates, and well-wishers to celebrate a prominent chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Joshua Oladapo Akangbe, fondly known as JossyLad, The Party Man, on the occasion of his birthday.

In a heartfelt congratulatory message, Hon. Nwachukwu described JossyLad as an outstanding and committed leader whose passion for the growth of the PDP and the development of Ibadan North Federal Constituency remains exemplary.

Just In: (Pictorial) Tragedy Strikes Ibadan || Police Stray Bullet Claims Life of 17-Year-Old Student Published by Samuel Toba-Olumide   Ibadan, Oyo State - A somber mood has engulfed the Alakia-Welfare-Airport Ibadan community following a tragic incident on Airport Road, Alakia, where a 17-year-old student lost his life in a hail of bullets fired by police officers. According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred when a driver, allegedly passing through a one-way street, was pursued by police officers. The foremost monarch, who ascended the throne in July 2024, died in the early hours of Monday, July 7, 2025, after spending a year on the throne.  The demise of Oba Olakulehin, born July 5, 1935, is coming barely two days after celebrating his 90th birthday.  Oba Olakulehin received the staff of office from Oyo State Governor Engr.
