Birthday: Ibadan PDP Stalwart, Hon. Olusoji Olusegun ALADE (SOJ), Celebrates Hon. Babajide Adebayo “JAGABAN” on His Special Day


A Stalwart of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Olusoji Olusegun Alade (SOJ), has joined family, friends, political associates, and well-wishers to celebrate the birthday of a respected lawmaker, Hon. Adebayo Babajide Gabriel, fondly known as JAGABAN.

Hon. SOJ, who was recently honoured by the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII) as an Icon of Ibadan Heritage on April 12, 2026, at the Civic Centre, described the celebrant as a dependable ally, a friend, and a distinguished ranking member of the Oyo State House of Assembly. It would be recalled that he was also a recipient of the CCII Champion of Ibadan Culture award in 2025, further cementing his reputation as a committed promoter of Ibadan’s rich cultural heritage.

In his birthday message, Hon. SOJ lauded Hon. Babajide Adebayo Gabriel for his steadfast dedication to public service and his impactful representation of Ibadan North Constituency II.

"I celebrate a dear friend and brother, Hon. Adebayo Babajide Gabriel, JAGABAN, on the occasion of his birthday. You have remained a respected ranking member of the Oyo State House of Assembly, whose commitment to the growth and development of Ibadan North is both commendable and inspiring.”

He further extolled the lawmaker’s leadership qualities, noting that his contributions continue to resonate positively within his constituency and beyond.

"Your leadership, experience, and passion for service have continued to uplift our people and strengthen the voice of our constituency. You are indeed a shining example of purposeful leadership.”

Hon. SOJ prayed for long life, sound health, and greater accomplishments for the celebrant, expressing confidence in his continued rise in the political landscape.

"As you mark this special day, I pray that Almighty God grants you many more years in good health, wisdom, and greater achievements. May your path continue to shine brighter as you serve humanity with dedication and integrity.”

The Ibadan PDP stalwart concluded by wishing Hon. Babajide a joyous celebration and renewed strength for the tasks ahead.

The message reflects the deep respect and camaraderie shared between both leaders, as well as the admiration Hon. Babajide Adebayo Gabriel commands among stakeholders within Ibadan North and the wider Oyo State political space.
