The Special Assistant to the Governor of Oyo State on Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Hon. Julian Arike Nwachukwu, has congratulated Hon. Folajinmi Oyekunle DoN and Hon. Olufunke Comforter Adeniyi-Olajide, fondly called Ajokeade, on their emergence as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) consensus candidates for the forthcoming elections.

Hon. Nwachukwu, in a statement made available to the public, described their emergence as a reflection of their outstanding leadership, dedication to service, and deep-rooted connection with the people of Ibadan North. She noted that both candidates have consistently demonstrated excellence in their current roles, earning the trust and confidence of party stakeholders and constituents alike.

“Your emergence as consensus candidates is not by chance, but a testament to your commitment, capacity, and the impact you have both made in your respective offices. You have remained true to the ideals of good governance and people-oriented representation,” she stated.

Speaking further, the Governor’s aide praised the duo as shining examples of purposeful leadership, emphasizing that their candidacies represent continuity and progress for Ibadan North.

“Hon. DoN and my dear sister, Ajokeade, are indeed beacons of hope for our people. Their emergence will only consolidate the good works they are already doing, as they step forward to seek a second term in their respective positions,” she added.

Hon. Nwachukwu also highlighted that the consensus arrangement within the PDP underscores unity, shared vision, and a collective determination to sustain the developmental strides being witnessed under the leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde.

“This is a moment of pride for our party and for Ibadan North. It shows that we are united and focused on building on our achievements. I have no doubt that the people will once again entrust you with their mandate,” she affirmed.

While wishing them success at the polls, she offered prayers for victory and continued strength.

“I wish you both resounding success in the forthcoming elections. May your journey ahead be victorious, and may your service continue to bring progress, development, and prosperity to our people,” Hon. Nwachukwu concluded.
