The Special Assistant to the Governor of Oyo State on Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Hon. Julian Arike Nwachukwu, has extended warm congratulations to the “Jagaban” of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Adebayo Babajide Gabriel, on his emergence as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Ibadan North Constituency II ahead of the 2027 General Elections.

In a statement made available to the public, Hon. Nwachukwu described Hon. Babajide’s emergence as well-deserved, noting his sterling performance as one of the most senior-ranking members of the Oyo State House of Assembly and his unwavering commitment to grassroots development and party unity.

“Your emergence as the PDP candidate for a third term is a clear testament to your consistency, experience, and the remarkable impact you have made over the years. You have remained a pillar of strength for the party and a dependable representative for your constituents,” she stated.

She further praised the lawmaker’s leadership style, highlighting his accessibility, dedication to the welfare of the people, and his role in strengthening the PDP’s structure across Ibadan North.

“Jagaban, your name resonates with leadership, courage, and service. You have proven time and again that governance is about the people, and your track record speaks volumes of your capacity and passion,” Hon. Nwachukwu added.

The Governor’s aide also reflected on the recent confirmation of Hon. Folajinmi Oyekunle and Hon. Olufunke Comforter Adeniyi-Olajide as returning PDP candidates for their second terms, noting that Hon. Babajide’s emergence now completes the formidable trio of PDP flag bearers for Ibadan North Local Government.

“With the emergence of Hon. DoN, Ajokeade, and now Jagaban, the PDP in Ibadan North stands united, stronger, and fully prepared for victory in 2027. This alignment reflects our shared vision, continuity in leadership, and commitment to sustaining the people-oriented governance championed by His Excellency, Seyi Makinde,” she affirmed.

Hon. Nwachukwu expressed confidence that the trio’s proven track records and strong connection with the grassroots would once again earn them the trust and mandate of the people at the polls.

“By the grace of God, our party will record another resounding victory. The people of Ibadan North have seen the results of good governance, and they will undoubtedly stand with leaders who have consistently delivered,” she said.

While wishing Hon. Babajide success in the forthcoming elections, she offered prayers for continued strength and greater accomplishments.

“I heartily congratulate you, Jagaban, on this milestone. May your journey to victory be smooth, and may your continued service bring even more development, unity, and prosperity to Ibadan North and Oyo State at large,” Hon. Nwachukwu concluded.
