Ibadan North Constituency 1 PDP Ward Chairmen Celebrate Hon. Comforter’s 2nd Term Ticket, Rally Support for Campaigns & Elections
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Ward Chairmen across Wards 1 to 6 in Ibadan North Constituency I have jointly extended their heartfelt congratulations to Hon. Olufunke Comforter Adeniyi-Olajide on her well-deserved emergence as the party’s candidate for a second term in the Oyo State House of Assembly.
In a unified message, the party leaders described her victory as a testament to her outstanding performance, dedication to service, and unwavering loyalty to the ideals of the PDP. They noted that her emergence followed wide consultations with party stakeholders at all levels, within Ibadan North Local Government, Ibadan political leadership structures, and across Oyo State, including the endorsement and confidence of His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde.
The Ward Chairmen emphasized that Hon. Comforter’s first term has been marked by impactful representation, people-oriented legislation, and visible grassroots development. According to them, she has remained accessible to party members, responsive to constituents’ needs, and committed to fulfilling her campaign promises.
They highlighted her contributions in moving meaningful motions on the floor of the House, executing projects that directly benefit the people, and strengthening the bond between the government and the grassroots. Her leadership, they said, has brought pride and progress to Ibadan North Constituency I.
Speaking on behalf of the Chairmen, the PDP Ward 6 Chairman stated:
“Hon. Comforter has proven beyond doubt that she is a true representative of the people. From empowering women and youths to ensuring that the dividends of democracy reach the grassroots, her performance has been exceptional. Her emergence for a second term is not just deserved, it is necessary for continuity."
Also lending his voice, the PDP Ward 4 Chairman remarked:
"One good term truly deserves another. Hon. Comforter has carried everyone along; party members, leaders, and constituents alike. As we look ahead to the general elections, we are fully committed to mobilizing support to ensure she secures a resounding victory at the polls."
The Chairmen further called on all party faithful and constituents to remain united and committed as the election approaches, stressing that the task ahead is to translate this victory at the primaries into a landslide win in the general election.
They reaffirmed their readiness to work tirelessly across all wards to ensure that Hon. Comforter Adeniyi-Olajide returns to the Oyo State House of Assembly to continue her good works and quality representation.
