The Vice Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government and Political Head of Aare-Latosa LCDA, Hon. Akeem Adewale Ayoade, has congratulated the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) flag bearers in Ibadan North ahead of the 2027 General Elections, describing their emergence as a product of unity, performance, and the collective will of the people.

In a statement made available to the public, Hon. Ayoade extended heartfelt congratulations to Hon. Folajinmi Oyekunle, Hon. Olufunke Comforter Adeniyi-Olajide, and Hon. Adebayo Babajide Gabriel on their emergence as the PDP candidates for the House of Representatives and Oyo State House of Assembly seats.

He noted that the trio represents a blend of experience, proven capacity, and unwavering commitment to the development of Ibadan North, adding that their track records in office have earned them the trust and confidence of the people.

“Your emergence as candidates of our great party is not accidental. It is a reflection of your hard work, dedication to public service, and the visible impact you have made across your constituencies. You have all shown that leadership is about service and results,” he stated.

Hon. Ayoade described the candidates as dependable leaders whose continued presence in office would ensure consolidation of ongoing developmental strides and people-oriented representation.

“With Hon. Folajinmi Oyekunle DoN at the federal level, Hon. Olutunu De in Constituency I, and Hon. Babajide Jagaban in Constituency II, Ibadan North is indeed blessed with a team that understands governance, values the people, and is committed to progress. This is a strong and winning team,” he added.

The Vice Chairman further assured that the leadership at the local government and LCDA levels would intensify grassroots mobilisation to guarantee victory for the PDP at the polls.

“As the Vice Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government and Political Head of Aare-Latosa LCDA, I assure you of our total commitment to mobilising support from the grassroots. We will work tirelessly with party leaders, stakeholders, and members to ensure that our candidates emerge victorious in 2027,” he affirmed.

He also commended the leadership of Seyi Makinde for fostering unity and good governance within the party and the state, noting that the achievements recorded under his administration have strengthened the PDP’s position among the people.

Hon. Ayoade concluded by wishing the candidates success in the forthcoming elections, expressing confidence that the people of Ibadan North would once again stand with the PDP.

“I heartily congratulate our candidates and wish them resounding success at the polls. By the grace of God, victory is assured, and together, we will continue to move Ibadan North forward,” he concluded.
