As schools across Ibadan North Constituency II, Ibadan North Local Government, and the entire Oyo State reopen for the third term of the academic session, Oyo State House of Assembly Aspirant, Hon. Yisah Mohammed Bright, has extended his heartfelt welcome to all Nursery, Primary, and Secondary School students returning from the holiday.
Speaking on the resumption, Hon. Bright expressed his excitement at seeing students return to their classrooms, emphasizing the importance of the third term in shaping academic success. “I warmly welcome all our dear students back to school after the holiday. This third term is a decisive period, one that demands focus, dedication, and excellence,” he said.
He encouraged students to approach their studies with renewed determination, noting that the sacrifices of their parents and the efforts of their teachers must not be taken for granted. “Education remains the strongest foundation for a brighter future. I urge every student to stay disciplined, respect their teachers, and give their very best in all academic pursuits,” he added.
Hon. Bright also acknowledged the vital role of parents and guardians, urging them to continue supporting their children in achieving their educational goals. According to him, a strong partnership between home and school is key to nurturing responsible and successful individuals.
While addressing the broader educational landscape, the PDP Stakeholder highlighted the impactful leadership of His Excellency, Seyi Makinde, whose administration has consistently prioritized education. “We must commend the Governor for creating an enabling environment where education can truly thrive. From improved infrastructure to policies that enhance learning, Oyo State today stands as a model for educational development,” he stated.
He further noted that the conducive atmosphere provided by the state government places a responsibility on students to maximize the opportunities available to them. “With the support system already in place, success is within your reach. Make this term count,” he urged.
Hon. Yisah Mohammed Bright concluded by wishing all students a productive and successful third term, expressing confidence that their commitment to excellence will yield remarkable results.
“Once again, I welcome you all back to school. May this term bring you closer to your dreams and aspirations,” he said.
