Party Chairman, Comrade Mustapha, Congratulates Council Chairman, Olufade and Councillorship Candidates on Emergence after Party Primaries

The Chairman of the Alliance Party/Allied Peoples Movement (APM) in Ibadan North Local Government, Alh. Com. S. Ademuyiwa Mustapha, has congratulated the Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade ONALA, on his emergence as the party's Chairmanship Candidate for a second term ahead of the forthcoming local government elections.

Speaking on behalf of the Executive Committee, party leadership, stakeholders, and members of the Alliance Party/APM in Ibadan North, Alh. Com. Mustapha described Hon. Olufade's emergence as a clear affirmation of the confidence reposed in his leadership, commitment to grassroots development, and remarkable achievements in office.

He also extended warm congratulations to all the Councillorship Candidates who emerged through the peaceful primary and consensus exercises conducted across the twelve wards of Ibadan North Local Government, commending all aspirants, delegates, and party faithful for their maturity, discipline, and unwavering commitment to the democratic process.

According to him, "The peaceful conduct of our primary election is a testament to the unity, discipline, and political maturity that define our party in Ibadan North. Today's success belongs to every member who placed the collective interest of the party above personal ambition."

Alh. Com. Mustapha expressed profound appreciation to the Leader of the Party in Oyo State, His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, for demonstrating confidence in the leadership and stakeholders of the party by allowing the decision-making process to remain at the grassroots.

He equally commended party leaders and stakeholders across Ibadan North and Oyo State for ensuring a transparent, credible, and rancour-free exercise, describing the process as a model worthy of emulation.

"True leadership inspires trust, and true democracy thrives where fairness and unity prevail. What we have witnessed in Ibadan North is a victory for the entire party and the people we are committed to serving," he stated.

The party chairman noted that the successful conclusion of the primary exercise has further reaffirmed that Ibadan North remains united, focused, and prepared to deliver another resounding victory for the Alliance Party/APM in the forthcoming local government elections.

He called on all members, supporters, and former aspirants to close ranks behind the party's candidates, emphasizing that the collective objective is to deepen good governance, sustain grassroots development, and consolidate on the achievements already recorded in Ibadan North.

Comrade Mustapha concluded by praying for divine wisdom, strength, and protection for Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade ONALA and all the Councillorship Candidates as they begin the next phase of the electoral process, expressing confidence that the party will emerge victorious at the polls through unity, hard work, and the continued support of the people.
